Tutorials 5 - Knitting

Part 2 of 2
 Step 1 - Do basic knitt for fifty times to get the length.

 Step 2 - Turning back and knitt as shown untill finish a row.

 Step 3 - This is results from step 2.

 Step 4 - Apply a right glue(for craft/ yarn) as shown and fold it carefully.

 Step 5 - The picture shown results from step 4.

 Step 6 - Apply glue and stick on green knitting (outcomes from part 1 of 2).

 Step 7 - Apply glue to lastic hair fastener and stick to step 6.

Note : This type of knitting can be created into various of design and colours depends on creativity of knitters. 

Tutorials 4 - Knitting


Part 1 of 2
Step 1 - Yarn is ready to be folded.

 Step 2 - Folded yarn as shown.

 Step 3 - Do 'basic knitt' about six times for the length.

 Step 4 - Lock up the basic knitt and began with second row of another styles of knitt as shown. Each knitting alternate with one basic knitt.

 Step 5 - Third row by doing six basic knitt and lock distance & space base bottom row(see picture). 

 Step 6 - Next step to be started from finished point.

 Step 8 - Every newer knitt during this step need spacing by doing one basic knitt.

 Step 9 - As shown is result from step 8 and to start next step from this point.

 Step 10 - This step need six basic knitt and lock it base bottom row. 

 Step 11 - Join another colour of yarn and do six basic knitt for every knitting until finish.

Classic Embroidery

...nOwdays...very rare found this type of embroidery since new technologies hit market...I felt very lucky that I had learnt this classic embroidery before it is lost from this globalization...as I know...in Penang still can be found this classic embroidery in a sewing shop which sew kebaya nyonya(Malay traditional wear)...
I love classic embroidery so much...every touch come from heart..
.. & it's beutiful only can be found by arts..!

These are some of my handmade classic embroidery I had ever done...

Note : Embroidery can be done on any wear....not only limited to kebaya nyonya, baju kurung nor kurung moden etc...even blouse, skirt, dinner dress or else still can put embroidery on it...this depends on creativity of sewer and effort....as well as the flower might be any kinds of depends on ideas...classic embroidery more expensive compare to moden because it's take more times to complete for each dresses and 100% manual work...& lots more...

Tutorials 3 - Simple Pouch

 Step1 - Cut various of fabrics in any sizes and shape.

 Step 2 - Join the fabrics in free style of arranging to get 5" x 11" quilts.

 Step 3 - Iron to get a neat work.

 Step 4 - Cut the quilts to 5" x 11"

  Step 5 - Cut the red fabric into 2 pieces sizes 5" x 11" same as quilts.

  Step 6 - Join red fabric to both sides of quilts.

  Step 7 - Iron again to gain a neat work.

  Step 8 - Now join the side of pouch. Do not sew till finish. Left 1" for rope drain (as Step 18)

  Step 9 - Do finishing(sew) to upper part of pouch.

  Step 10 - Join the bottom part of the pouch.

  Step 11 - Produce a piece of lining as shown as same sizes with the pouch.

  Step 12 - Join the lining with upper part of pouch.


  Step 13 - Push the lining inside the pouch and sew it well.

  Step 14 - Turn the lining and pouch in correct way and sew the side parts of pouch(both sides).

  Step 15 - Sew the bottom part of lining.

  Step 16 - Do a bit knitting to side@bottom part of lining to make sure similarly with pouch.

  Step 17 - Sew upper part to make a drain for rope.

  Step 18 - Lastly, putting rope at upper part of the pouch.

Note : Centre part of the pouch called 'crazy quilts' which means free styles of joining fabrics and various of shape can be using without formal block. It's easier compair to other quilts.

Fabric


...cOme on Thursday !! another one day to go tomorrow...Friday is end@weekday for those who work in office mostly...what to present here for next project ? aboved are cotton fabric for making crafts...if anybody alert...this kind of fabric were made into blouse by oldies@lady...nowdays..not much found this practice after new fabric came in market...however..my mum who 75 years old and her friend@neighbor 80 years of age still use this fabric ....^_^  I Likeee...!! I bought it from Kamdar, Alor Setar, Kedah and Lew Emporium, Kangar, Perlis sometimes ago...what I might do with those fabrics...?? I will upload once I finish make it...alright..!! ...have a nice day....

Tutorials 2 - Quilts

                                                Step 1 - Draw a block 3cm on each corner.

   Step 2 - Paste the block on other paper and cut it to produce 7 blocks all together.

  ...7 blocks were gained...

                                            Step 3 - Cut the cloth to make the centre of block.

                                            Step 4 - Cut an other of cloth  for the others block.

                                                     ...and this is outcomes at this stage...

                     Step 5 - Fold the cloth base block and do a temporary knitting for centre block.

                     Step 6 - Fold the cloth base block and do a temporary knitting for others block.

                                                Step 7 -  Turn every blocks to main looked.

    Step 8 - Start joining the blocks by doing knitting. The easy method as shown, which is others block would be joining one by one and after as arrangement been made.

 Step 9 - Second block were joined just this way and follow by others until finish.

 Step 10 - After finished joining the others block with centre block, start joining each other side block as pic shown.

 ...this is block after finish joining all together from another side looked...
